Professional information

Lut Laleman lives and works in Dendermonde, Belgium. She started her ceramic education in 1995 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
She immediatly specialized in handbuilt porcelain. 
Between intense black and fragile white, the search for an object in its purest form goes on. The objects don’t need the flashy visual culture, but the effects of depth, light and shadow and gossamer lattice structures with great sensitivity and stratification, that slowly reveal their secrets, are essential.
